TOMOYO SHIONOME was born in Tokyo and raised in the Saitama prefecture.

Early in her carrier, she worked as a hair colorlist in a high-end salon, well known for employing the best hair colorlist in Japan. She won an award in a hair color national competition at the age of 23.

She then attended Shiseido Hair and Makeup School for a year to learn the fundamentals of makeup and fashion. 

She moved to NYC to continue her career and develop into an international makeup artist while working for many major fashion shows. 

She has a talent for creating beautiful natural makeup looks. She has a broad range of skills encompassing the entire beauty spectrum both in editorial and commercial shoots.
